F.A.Q. about the Library Information Point
The Library Information Point does not replace the University Library, which is located at the UniZone, it only supports its use
- Where is the library point?
At the City Campus (Alkotmány street 9-11.) in room number 36, ground floor.
- When is it open?
On Monday, Wednesday between 9 am and 5 pm, on Friday between 9 am and 3 pm.
- What services can I use here?
You can book a librarian who will be able to help in terms of research (e.g. thesis writing) or help with citations and references. You can make a reservation here »»»
You may also request a specific book from the University Library (UniZone), to do this you must fill out the following form »»»
During the opening hours of the Information Point, it is possible to request information from librarians about catalog use (book selection), databases, and library services without the need of logging in.
- Are there any books here? Can I borrow?
You can only find books at the University Library (UniZone), but you can make requests for books. The turnaround time for this is at least 2 workdays. You can borrow the books that have arrived, for this you need to fill out the following form »»»
- Will I get a notification when the books are ready for pickup?
We will send you an email notification that the books have arrived and are available.
- Can I return the borrowed books here?
You can place the borrowed books into the book return box which you can find at the front desk. The box is available during the opening hours of the building.
