The European University Championship (EUC), organized by the EUSA (European University Sports Association), is held every two years, where BGE students regularly achieve great success.
The European Universities Games (EUG), also organized by EUSA, are held every two years. The 2022 European Universities Games were hosted by Łódź, Poland, where the BGE men's water polo team won a gold medal. The 2024 edition was held in Hungary, with competitions taking place in Miskolc and Debrecen. The next European Universities Games will be hosted by Salerno, Italy, in 2026.
