Budapest University of Economics and Business

I was born in 1954 in Kaposvár, Hungary. At the age of 20 I decided to follow family tradition to be a physical education teacher. I started my studies in the “Alma mater” of my father, at the University of Physical Education (TE) in Budapest, graduated in 1979 as physical education teacher and licensed basketball coach. Today I’m really proud of my son who also graduated in TE in 2008.; After receiving my degree I was teaching PE in an Elementary School and later in Kaesz Gyula Secondary School in Budapest. I joined Budapest University of Economics and Business (“Külker”) in 1984.; With my colleagues at the Physical Education Division we are continuously working one offering a range of sport activities for students out of the school as well: participation on international tournaments, ski camp, wakeboard, watersports, climbing, etc. I’m the coach of the basketball team.; Basketball was always am important part of my life, I started playing as a young child and at the age of 14 I joined the school’s basketball team. I used to play in TE University basketball team in NB I. and later in Budapest Championship, nowadays I’m a member of a senior team. Beside that I am a licensed ski-and snowboard instructor.
