Introduction

Gábor Réthi works at the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship of the Faculty of Finance and Accountancy of the Budapest University of Economics and Business, as an associate professor. In 2008 he graduated from the University of Miskolc with a major in management and a minor in international business. He obtained his PhD in 2017 at the Doctoral School of Entrepreneurship, Theory and Practice at the University of Miskolc. In his dissertation “The Culture of Corruption”, he examined the relationship between corruption and cultural differences.

Between 2008 and 2017, he taught in English and Hungarian at the University of Miskolc (since 2010 as a lecturer). He is a guest lecturer at Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, Medellin, Colombia. Since 2009, he has been regularly involved in organizational development consulting and expert projects in domestic and multicultural environments. Since 2014, he has also been working as an internationalization coordinator and consultant. Since 2019, he has been the Director of International Affairs at the Faculty of Finance and Accountancy. He considers it important to continuously incorporate his practical experience into education as well. He is the author of foreign language and Hungarian articles and book chapters.
