Továbbjutás a Kézilabda MEFOB-on
The rematch of the first handball MEFOB match was held on February 3, where the BUEB girls' opponent was again the KRE team.
At the beginning of the match, both teams started nervously, which manifested itself in the form of missed opportunities and turnovers. Thus, in the 7th minute, the score was 3-2 in favor of BGE. The teams didn't get much further away from each other afterwards either, sometimes one or the other led by 1-2 goals. Accordingly, the scoreboard showed a 15-15 draw at halftime.
The field selection team started the second half better and quickly gained a 5-goal advantage. From that point on, the BGE students did not let the victory and thus progress through their hands. 5 minutes before the end, Károli scored 3 goals, but in the last 5 minutes of the match, BGE decided the question of advancing and won with a confident margin of 9 goals.
Halftime: BUEB-KRE: 15-15
Result: BUEB-KRE: 36-27
Overall: 72-64 for BUEB.

Hammerl Soma is also an EB participant
Last weekend, the third selection competition for sports shooters, the Budapest Airgun Championship, was held, where our student Hammerl Soma finished fourth in the 10-meter air rifle adult competition. With this performance, Soma secured his place on March 9-12. at the European Championship in Eszczecin.

Two national teams against each other: BL rally in Komjádi
BUEB student Gergő Fekete also played a key role in the 18-10 victory of the FTC Telekom men's water polo team against the Spanish CNA Barceloneta in the Champions League. Gergő scored two goals in the match, contributing to the team's success. The Barceloneta team included Vince Vigvári, also from BUEB, who also scored two goals in the match.

It's Parasport week at BGE again this year
The Hungarian Paralympic Committee (MPB) and the National Association of Student, Competitive and Leisure Sports of the Disabled (FODISZ) will organize the Hungarian Parasport Day for the eighth time in 2025, to which the Budapest University of Economics will join this year with its "Challenge Yourself" program.
